  • I subscribe the professional review "Lingua e Civiltà" (Language and Civilization) by C.L.A.D.I.L (Centro Linguistica Applicata Didattica delle Lingue - Centre of Applied Linguistics and Didactics of Languages) directed by prof. Giovanni Freddi, professor at Università Cà Foscari until the year of its closing

  • Since 1982 I have become a member of LEND ((Language and New Didactics) of Bologna and I have regularly attended, every other Wednesday, the cultural meetings and seminars and all the cultural events promoted by the Association and held at the British Council and/or Associazione Culturale Italo Britannica (British and Italian Association) with Library Membership Card.
    Since I have lived in Damascus (Syria), of course, I have not been able to be physically present but I have been constantly updated by my kind colleague Mariateresa Brintazzoli who I have known for ages
  • Since 1982 I have attended more than eleven "National Conference for Teachers of English" sponsored by the British Council on didactics, linguistic- didactic methodology and communication
  • In 1989, 1993, 2000 I regularly attend seminars on linguistic-didactic and new methodologies of Languages inside Special Projects for Foreign Languages (SPFL) sponsored by the State Institution IRRSAE (Istituto Regionale Ricerca Aggiornamento Educativi - Regional Institute for Research and Educational Updating) tutored by prof. Luisa Pantaleoni, textbook author for High School, promoter and former director of the School for Interpreters of Forlì, branch of the University of Bologna and prof. Maria Luisa Pozzi Lolli, textbook writer for High School.
  • in 1991, 1994 I attend the seminar "Insegnare a Studiare" (Teaching how to study) promoted by CERFES (Centro Emiliano-Romagnolo di Formazionee Studi - Study Formation Emilia-Romagna Centre)
  • in 1997, 1998 I work in the "Progetto Rete" (Net Project) sponsored by M.P.I (Ministry of Public Education) for the didactic with computer (hypertext)
MY CAREER ABROAD
In the academic year 2006-2007 because of my successful results in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Teacher National Competition (Ministero degli Affari Esteri - M.A.E) I am appointed Lector of Italian Language at the University of Damascus (Higher Language Institute) with extra-academic charges at Damascus Italian Embassy (Assistant of the Cultural Attachè)
In 2007 successfully I pass the on line updating course for the Formation of Language Assistants/Lectors by INDIRE (M.A.E)
In March 2012, I am forced to come back to Italy because of the political situation in Syria (Closing of Italian Embassy).

  1. 1997 -2000: INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE SECONDARY EDUCATION (IGCSE)
    • Responsible for the Experimental Courses with IGCSE and IGCSE Exam Administrator and for the relationships with UCLES - University of Cambridge at Liceo "L. Galvani" in Bologna, Experimental Section, delegated by the Headmaster prof. Luigi Spada.
  2. 2010: "STUDY IN EUROPE DAY" IN LATAKIA (SYRIA) FOR THE EU (EUROPEAN UNION)
  3. 2007-2011: CELI EXAM ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE UNIVERSITY FOR FOREIGNERS OF PERUGIA AT THE ITALIAN CULTURAL CENTRE (IIC) OF DAMASCUS
  4. 2007-2012: COORDINATOR AND TEACHER OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES structured according to the linguistic competences stated by the European Common Framework for Foreign Languages at: 1. University of Damascus (Head of the Italian Language Section at the Higher Language Institute ); 2. University of Latakia ; 3. Italian Cultural Centre (IIC) of the Italian Embassy in Damascus.
